Obituary for Joseph Anthony Korba
Joseph Anthony Korba, A1C U.S. Air Force went to his heavenly home January 21, 2021, at the age 19 years. Joseph was born in Fort Hood, Texas on March 24, 2001, to John A. and Peggy A. Korba (Martin).
Joseph was a 2019 graduate of La Vernia High School. He enjoyed all sports, gaming, music and driving his 2020 Frost Blue Dodge Challenger. He played recreational football, baseball and golf and especially loved wearing cool looking footwear.
Joseph is preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul A. Korba and grandmother, Ruthie M. Martin. He is survived by his parents, John A. and Peggy A. Korba; brother, William H. Korba; sister, Kristen E. Korba; grandmother, Antoinette Korba; paternal aunts and uncles, Roy and Mary Romshak, Carlos and Victoria Villarreal, Omar and Charity Urrutia, Arron and Dawn Morrison; maternal aunts and uncles, Art and Barbara Heber, Sarah Brown, Lonnie and Janelle Martin, Benjamin Martin, Marvin and Mary Martin; cousins, Jacqui Brentnell-Neilson, Noah Villarreal, Judah and Ethan Urrutia, Britany Morrison, Garrett and Alex Morrison, as well as many dear friends.
A visitation will take place at 11:00 am Monday, February 1, 2021 at Grace Bible Church, La Vernia, prior to the funeral service.

Pastor Claude Hungerford will officiate at the service with private interment following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Grace Bible Church in Joseph’s name. The family will hold a reception at their home, 129 Circle Six Drive, La Vernia, beginning at 4:30 pm after the interment.
