Obituary for Josefina "Fina" Moreno (Sauceda)

Josefina “Fina” Sauceda Moreno, age 84, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Seguin. She was born June 10, 1931in George West to Mr. and Mrs. Vidal and Jesusa (Valdez) Sauceda. Her parents; husband, Guillermo Moreno; son, Guillermo Moreno Jr.; two sisters; and three brothers precede her in death. Fina is survived by her son, John Moreno of San Antonio; daughters, Teresa “Terri” Moreno Mendiola and husband Moises, Brenda Moreno Flores, and Cynthia Moreno Mejia and husband Cozme, all of Nixon; grandchildren, Denise Moreno Canchola and husband Gabriel, John “Bo” Moreno Jr., Robert Lee Moreno, Anthony G. Moreno, Victoria “Tori” Moreno, Tamatha Mendiola Pecina and husband Vincent, Amber Mendiola Muñoz and husband Andres, Jaelynn Mendiola, Anthony Mendiola, Jaydan Mendiola, Dustin Flores, Desiree Flores, Tyhanna Mejia and Jenell Mejia; thirteen great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary, Dora, Betty, Lupe, Josie and Sandra; and brothers, John Bill, Raymond and Eliseo. A visitation with the family will take place Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm, with a Rosary Vigil recited at 6:30pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon.

St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nixon

Father Kuriakose Ouseph will officiate at the mass. Interment will follow in the Nixon Latin American Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Fina’s name to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building fund, 207 S Washington Ave, Nixon, TX 78140.
