Obituary for Jose Ramirez Guerra

Jose Ramirez Guerra, age 70, of New Braunfels and formerly of Nixon, passed away November 6, 2015. He was born on August 20, 1945 in Kenedy, TX to Domingo and Juanita (Ramirez) Guerra. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Lee (Ferguson) Guerra on December 31, 2013; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Jose is survived by four daughters: Anna Marie White and husband Ron, Betty Guerra, Tammy Guerra, Orelia Guerra; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brother; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 12th from 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 pm by Deacon John Moreno. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 13th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Ouseph Kuriakose officiating. Interment will follow at the Nixon Latin American Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made by way of mass intentions.
