Joe P. Perez, Jr., age 71, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born October 25, 1949, in Stockdale, Texas to Joe and Nicolasa (Guajardo) Perez. Joe was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Hilda (de la Rosa) Perez; son, Robert Perez (Rebecca Solis); daughter, Stacy Perez Waterman (Jeffery); grandchildren, Daryn Llanes (Anthony), Mary Blaire Waterman, Jordan Perez, John Martin Waterman, Noah Gonzales; siblings, Paula Castañon (Luciano), Jesse Perez, Sr. (Alicia), Juan Perez (Lillian), Rudy Perez (Linda); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. The Perez Family would like to thank the care givers and staff on the 7th floor at the University Hospital for their compassionate service, and special thanks to Dr. Lillian Perez, Dr. Christian Cavacece, and Dr. Asra Aslam at the UT Health Science Center, MD Anderson. A visitation will take place Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 9:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Stockdale, Texas 78160.
