Joe Mangum, Sr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the age of 85. He was born on November 26, 1933 in Nixon, Texas to Garnett Mangum and Beulah (Schwab) Horwood. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vivian Rosenbalm; brother, Garnett Mangum, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Levi Dawn; and one nephew. He is survived by his loving wife, Jimmie Mangum of Crosby, TX; children, Debbie Spence and husband David of Liberty, TX, Joe Mangum, Jr. and wife Laura of Crosby, TX, Peggy Cox and husband Rick of Crosby, TX, and Mark Mangum and wife Donna of Crosby, TX; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 niece; 1 nephew; and numerous friends. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon, TX.
