Joanne Mejia Nieto of Seguin, Texas passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 52. Joanne was born on July 6, 1968 in Yorktown, Texas to Isario Isaac Mejia, Sr., and Maria Magdalen (Dominguez) Mejia who precede her in death along with brothers, Isario Mejia Jr., and David Mejia. She is survived by her spouse, Jose Alonzo Hernandez; daughter, Kimberly Nicole Nieto (Brandon Stewart); son, Salvador Jesse Nieto, Jr.; grandchildren, Abrilynn Nieto, Aliyah Nieto, Angelo Sal Nieto, Ayla Nieto, Starlette Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Jr., and Bryson Stewart; brothers, Jesse Mejia (Catrina), Joe Mejia (Virginia); sister, Josie Cruz (Eddie); numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, graveside at Smiley Latin American Cemetery in Smiley, Texas.
