Jerry D. Russell, 80, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019, in Stockdale, TX. He was born August 9, 1939, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to the late William L. Russell and Bonnie Seale Russell.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jon Mark Russell; granddaughter, Sydney Lynn Russell; and brother, Bill Russell.
He is survived by his daughters, Nita Russell, Gina Reina (Eli), Ginger Russell; son Sidney Russell (Jessica); grandchildren, Jeremy Hayes, Austin Hayes (Brandie), Colton Childress-Russell, Sidney A. Russell and Nick Reina (Jodie); eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
On Monday, October 28, 2019, at Union Valley Baptist Church, there will be a visitation at 1:00 – 2:00 pm and a funeral service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Don Hessong officiating.
Graveside service and burial will be at E. L. Russell Cemetery in Rusk, TX, at a later date.
