Janis (Kosub) Liberda, of St. Hedwig, Texas, entered eternal rest on May 6, 2021, at the age of 65 years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 6, 1955, to Lucas and Rita Anna Kosub (Bechtold). Janis is preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, LeRoy and Carolyn Liberda.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Liberda; sons, Joshua Liberda (Brittany) and Jon Liberda; grandson, Austin Liberda; siblings, Vernon Kosub (Robin) and Vincent Kosub (Jeanette); numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Bright Star Home Health and Alamo Hospice for the gentle care they provided for Janis

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm this same evening.
