James A. "Woodie"  Woodcock
James Arnold Woodcock of San Antonio, TX passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the age of 80. James was born on May 4, 1935 in Ogdensburg, NY to James Thomas and Victoria Emily (Gillet) Woodcock. On October 27, 1956 James married Frances G. Mikolajczyk, and had been married for 59 years at the time of his passing. James graduated from St. Gerard High School in 1952. He retired from City Public Service after 42 years, and was a member of the Alamo Bass Club and CPS Livewire Club. James was a dedicated member of St. Anthony’s Parish in Elmendorf, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randall “Randy” James Woodcock; brother, Richard “Dickie” Charles Woodcock; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Hudek. James is dearly loved and will be missed by his wife, Frances; sons, Jeff Woodcock and wife Kelly, Brian Woodcock and wife Valerie, and Todd Woodcock and wife Chrystal; grandchildren, Melissa, Chelsea, Brent and Peyton; and sister, Shirley Ann Swift.
