James Anthony Golla fought hard for two weeks after suffering a stroke; his body finally gave up and he took God's hand and followed him home to be with his Mom and Dad on October 31, 2020. James was born May 8, 1965 in San Antonio to Bernard & Claudia (Brite) Golla. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. James retired from CPS Energy last year after of over 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Lucy Golla; parents Bernard and Claudia Golla. He is survived by and will be missed by his brother, Steven Mark Golla (Denise); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family, co-workers and many friends. A Rosary vigil will be recited at 1:30pm at Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, St. Hedwig on Thursday, November 5 at 1:30 pm.
