Isabel Pompa Pena, 93, of Smiley, Texas passed away on March 5, 2022 in Gonzales, Texas. Isabel was born on February 15, 1929 in Smiley to Jeremias Pompa and Gorgonia (Madrid) Pompa who precede her in death along with her husband, Refujio E. Pena; son, Steve Joseph Pena; brothers, Brijido Pompa, Theodoro Pompa, Estanislado Pompa, and Pascual Pompa; and sisters, Anita Gonzales and Hermina Ortega.

Isabel is survived by her children, Guadalupe Pena and wife Margaret of Gonzales, George Pena and wife Ginger of Nixon, and Mary Linda Arce and husband Ricardo of Seguin; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and her only surviving sibling, her sister Irene Maldonado of Gonzales.
