Irenia M. Bermea, age 92, of Smiley, Texas passed away on July 28, 2021 in Kyle, Texas. Irenia was born on April 5, 1929 in Gonzales, Texas to Jose and Ignacia (Maganias) Martinez. Irenia married Jose Bermea who has preceded her in death along with her parents; sons, Trinidad Bermea and Tony Bermea; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Irenia is survived by her sons, Mario Bermea (Adella), and Paul Bermea (Sally); grandchildren, Nicole Reid (Chris), Joshua Bermea, Ariel Bermea, Madison Bermea, Morgan Bermea, Aciana Bermea, and Tony Bermea; great-grandchildren, Christopher Reid, Sarah Ann Reid, Justice Cordova, Josia Cordova, and Jaxton Cordova; numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation and Rosary will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, 5:00pm-8:00pm, Rosary 6:30, at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, 10:00am, at St. Philips Catholic Church in Smiley, Texas. Interment will follow at the Smiley Latin American Cemetery.
