Obituary for Imogene Farris (Stidham)
Imogene Stidham Morlan Farris November 30, 1927 – August 23, 2021
Imogene passed away at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Winnie, Texas the only child of James Verlin Stidham and Jonnie Opal Newborn Stidham. She graduated from East Chambers High School in 1945. Imogene met Earl W. Morlan while working at the Winnie Post Office. They wed in 1946.
They lived in Houston and then Corpus Christi where she worked at Parkdale Bank as a teller and safety deposit box attendant. She loved her family, gardening, and fun times. After losing Earl she met and married Charles Farris who predeceased her in 2013.
She is survived by children Peggy Morlan Jones, Don Verlin Morlan and stepson Earl Waylan Morlan. Grandchildren Chad Jones, Michael Morlan, John Morlan, Mary Kathleen Morlan, Deborah Morlan, Karis Baker, Zack Magee, Kasey Magee and 9 great grandchildren.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
