Obituary for Ida Lorraine "Granny" Sullivan
Ida Lorraine “Granny” Sullivan peacefully met her Lord and Savior on April 1, 2023, in La Vernia Texas. Born August 20, 1935, in Bexar County, Texas, she lived a fulfilling life until the age of 87.
Granny enjoyed life to the fullest raising her children, watching her grandchildren, spending time with her numerous great-grandchildren, and even enjoying time with her great-great-grandchildren. She was the light that shone bright in the life of all those that knew her; Granny will be missed dearly.
Granny is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Sullivan, Sr. parents Lawrence and Hedwig Korus, and siblings Olga Ploch, Eugene Korus, and Steven Korus. She is survived by her daughter Linda Pruski and husband Gerry, son Johnny Sullivan, Jr and wife Beverly; grandchildren, Cindy Bowman (Mike), Mindy Gibson (Kyle), Erica Sullivan, Samantha Schulze (Eric), and Johnny Sullivan III (Acacia); great-grandchildren, Chelsie (Eric), Trevor (Rachel), Taylor, Dustin (Maddie), Austin, Jace, Kinsley, Sydney, Paige; great-great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Noam, Wyatt; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM with Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St Jerome’s Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Private interment will be held later this same day.
