Hope Marie Thurmond entered eternal rest on December 1, 2022, at the age of 65. She was born on September 10, 1957, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, to J.D. and Shirley Brown (Chartier) who preceded her in death.
Hope is survived by her husband of 38 years, Derek Thurmond; children, Elysia Finch, Adam Thurmond, Emily Stoddard, Trent Thurmond; grandchildren, Mary Finch, McKenley Finch, Reagan Finch, Hugo Lee Thurmond, Nola-Faye Thurmond, Amelia Stoddard; siblings, John Brown, Dawn Brown, Cindy Blacketer; numerous other family and many friends.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Finch Funeral Chapel- La Vernia.
