Obituary for Helen Marie Klepac (Schneider)

Helen Marie Schneider Klepac was a beloved wife, mother, mema, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She went to be with the good Lord on December 10, 2020 at the age of 84 years old. She was born to Ben and Annie Siebold Schneider on September 27, 1936 in Floresville, Texas. She loved being around her family and friends. Helen loved to cook, bake, play bunco, sew, and plant her flowers. She admired and loved her grandkids. Helen was continually active with her family in PTA, CYO, 4-H and working at the farm. She was a faithful servant to the Lord. She was a member of the St. Jerome and St. Benedict Catholic churches and was a member of both Altar Societies for years. She was also a Eucharistic minister. She was an active member of the ladies’ auxiliary with the Knights of Columbus. She retired from Highlands High School after 30 years of service. Helen is preceded in death by her loving husband Sylvester (Shorty) Klepac; her parents; her grandson, Gavin Klepac; her in-laws, Frank and Ida Klepac; her brothers, Edgar, Leonard and Leo; and her sisters, Eleanor and Evelyn. Helen is survived by her daughter, Denise (Eddie) Covert; sons Kenneth (Debbie) Klepac and Keith (Denise) Klepac; her grandchildren, Brittany Covert, Garrett Covert, Kortney Klepac, Kaitlyn Klepac, Kassidee Klepac, and Hardy Klepac; brother Raymond (Lucille) Schneider; sisters, Dorothy Wenzel and Lorine Palitza; brothers-in-law, Edmund (Virginia) Klepac and Windy (Pam) Klepac; sisters-in-law, Bernice Klepac and Elizabeth Klepac; along with many nieces and nephews. Thanks to Melissa McCumber and Rhonda McCumber for all the loving care you gave; you were both a blessing into our lives by God to help our mom. There will be a visitation with family Friday, December 18, 2020 at St. Jerome Catholic Church at 5:30 pm, with Rosary recited at 7:00 pm.
