Helen (Doege) Zaiontz, age 89, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Earnst and Elsa (Weinholdt) Doege who preceded her in death. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Zaiontz, Jr. She is survived by her children, Roy Zaiontz (Myra), Peggy Davenport, Barney Zaiontz (Loraine), and Laury Kizer (Larry); grandchildren, Kate Davenport, Tyler Davenport, Marc Zaiontz (Ashleigh), Steven Zaiontz (Angela), Alyssa Winkelman (Tim), Christopher Milner, Myron Kizer (Maria), and Crystal Kizer; great-grandchildren, Atlas, Anderson, Amelia, Finley, Porter, Nora, Ava, Isiah, Anabelle, and Scarlett; sister-in-law, Ann Gieniec; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Finch Funeral Chapel- La Vernia.
