Obituary for Felix James Janek Jr.

Felix Janek, Jr., age 85, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather joined his heavenly Father Thursday, January 12th, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born December 6th, 1937, to Felix, Sr. and Lillie (Merta) Janek.

Felix was preceded in death by his parents; loving and devoted wife, Madelene (Schmidt) Janek; sons, Joseph James Janek and Alan Trey Janek; granddaughter, Kaytie Janek; brothers, Billy Janek, Benedict “Benny” Henry Janek.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Gorden (Jason), Judy Bilsky (Ted); son, Jeff Janek (Theresa); grandchildren, Kim Gorden Carver (Garrett), Ashley Gorden Pfeil (Clayton), Jessica Gorden, Kyle Gorden, Colby Bilsky, Chandler Bilsky, Karrah Janek Aguilar (Dylan), Kalynn Janek, and Kaden Janek; great-grandchildren, Kent Carver, Kason Carver, Bailey Carver, Jaiden Pfeil, Gavin Pfeil, Adelynn Pfeil, Anna Pfeil, Cove Aguilar; brothers, Victor Janek (Bibian), Freddy Janek, Richard Janek (Vivian); sisters, Adella Lee, Lillian Beam, Mary Jane Ivey; other loving family, and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Gorden, Colby Bilsky, Chandler Bilsky, Kaden Janek, Garrett Carver, Clayton Pfeil, and Dylan Aguilar.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, from 9:00 - 10:00 AM with same day rosary starting at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockdale, Texas 78160.
