On February 3, 2020, Evelyn Dukes Long, 93, of Adkins, Texas passed away in San Antonio, Texas. Evelyn was born on February 2, 1927 in San Antonio, to James Dukes, Jr. and Olga (Benold) Dukes, whom have preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Doris Harold “Johnny” Long; siblings, Wilma Jean Dukes, Calvin James Dukes, Betty Lou Dukes, Henry Dukes, Leroy Dukes, and Bobby Dukes. Evelyn is survived and will be dearly missed by her children, John Long and wife Pat, David Long and wife Esther and Sandy Friesenhahn and husband Danny; grandchildren, Lisa Gardner (Roan), Dutch Friesenhahn (Shelley), Jacob Long (Alicia), Justin Long (Lauren), Marcos Campos (Brittany), Bryce Long and Sarah Long; great-grandchildren, Jordynn Krueger, Tristan Gardner (fiancé, Paige Kosub), Cassidy Gardner, Westen Friesenhahn, Cash Friesenhahn, Colton Long and Cason Long; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020, 9:00am-10:00am, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
