Esperanza Trujillo, of Floresville, Texas entered eternal rest on December 11, 2020, at the age of 87 years. Her heart beat for the last time, but her love will continue to live and guide her 9 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
She was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, on August 1, 1933, to Apolinar and Manuela (Gutierrez) Puente. Esperanza is preceded in death by her loving husband, Felipe Trujillo Sr.; parents; brothers, Pino, Simón, Filimón, Gabriel Puente; son-in-law, Hal G. Locklear. She is survived by her children, Mary Hope Trujillo Locklear, Yolanda Trujillo, Phillip Trujillo Jr, Carlos Trujillo, Anna Trujillo Herrera (Raul), Enrique Trujillo, Esther Trujillo Regmund (Joseph), Cristina Trujillo Guzman (Chuck), Cynthia Ann Trujillo; her siblings, Enrique Puente, Cristina Hernandez, Elia Puente; grandchildren, William Herrera (Leslie), Christopher Herrera (Andrea), Sirena Estrada, Maricela Trujillo, Jon Philip Trujillo, Victoria Nicole Guzman, Roberto Jose Guzman, Abbigayle Hope Lopez, Alyssa Gabrielle Regmund, Chloe Paige Regmund; great-grandchildren, Isabella Ava Herrera, Ella Noelle Rizo, Addison Grace Guzman, and Camilla Faith Zepeda.
She is at peace and reunited with her husband with whom she has been waiting to have another vuelta on the dance floor.
There will be a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 beginning at 9:00 AM with the rosary being recited at 10:00 AM.
