Ervin Rudolph Mergele, 92 of St. Hedwig, Texas passed away on February 9, 2020. Ervin was born on August 7, 1927 in St. Hedwig, Texas to Hugo Mergele and Mary (Foerster) Mergele whom have preceded him in death along with his wife, Rosalee (Strzelczyk) Mergele. Ervin is survived by his children, James Mergele (Patricia) of Adkins, Stephen Mergele (Doris) of Adkins, Jeffrey Mergele (Jennifer) of St. Hedwig, and Laurie Susan Lancaster of Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on February 12, 2020 9:00am-10:00am at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.
