Erna Lee Hormuth passed to her heavenly home Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Schertz, Texas at the age of 90. She was born in Bexar County, Texas on January 9, 1934.

Erna is preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Bud” Hormuth; parents, Willie and Martha (Friedeck) Barthold; siblings, Erwin Barthold, Hilda Faglie; nephews, Donald Ray Hormuth and Olin Cook. She is survived by her nieces, Margie Cook, Beverly Ann Haddock and her husband Dr. Neil Haddock, Dorris McCoy and her husband Fred and Debbie Mann, Shirley Hormuth; nephews, Barry Lynn Hormuth, Judd Barthold and Willie Barthold; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family and friends.

A visitation will take place from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024, at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia, Texas.
