Emma Gallegos, 90, of Yorktown, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020. She was born September 19, 1929, in Yorktown, to the late Maximo and Beneranda Martinez Salinas. Emma married Louis Gallegos in Yorktown on March 13, 1945.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Louis Gallegos, Jr; daughters, Elida Gallegos and Maria Elena Miller; grandson, Travis Mata; great-grandchild, Zoe Mata; sister, Helen Garza; and brother, Joe Salinas.

Emma is survived by her children, Rebecca Gallegos (David Cruz), Dora Mata (Arthur), Melvin Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos, Isabel Hinojosa (Frank, Sr), and Monica Nunez (Ray); brother, Juan Salinas; sister, Terri Pustka; son-in-law, Dennis Miller; grandchildren, Arthur Mata, Jacob Mata (Martha), Shane Cruz (Raquel), Kimberly Espinoza (Eric), Amanda Hinojosa, Frank Hinojosa (Chelsy), Isaiah Mata (Stephanie), Natalie Gallegos and Monica Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Hagen and Casen Cruz, Aaron Mata, Olivia Espinoza, Uvianna Davila, Nathan Hinojosa and Isaiah Mata; numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2020, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass is at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 30, 2020, at San Luis Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Gallegos, Shane Cruz, Frank Hinojosa Jr, Isaiah Mata, Jacob Mata and Ernest Galindo.
