Emilia Morales Valdez, of Nixon, Texas, entered eternal rest on January 21, 2020, in Seguin, Texas, at the age of 85. She was born in Helena, Texas, on September 16, 1934, to Anecleto B. Morales and Angelita Casarez Morales. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolfo “Rudy” Valdez on October 17, 1996; and by two brothers: Filiberto C. “Beto” Franco and Lorenzo Saenz. She is survived by her daughter, Irma Martinez; five sons: Bobby Valdez (Karen), John Valdez, Eddie Valdez (Rafaela), Michael Valdez (Erica), and Carlos Valdez (Maria Teresa); grandchildren: Kimberly, Kenneth, Kristin, Katrina, Kordell, Kinsley, Kodi and Breanna; great-grandchildren: Julia, Joseph, Kendall, Lauren, Katelyn, Grant, Sadie Grace, Ayven, Michaelah, Trevont, Tayveon and Avery Jaxxon; a brother, Anselmo “Andy” Morales (Connie); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many beloved friends. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nixon, with a Rosary recited at 10:00 AM.
