Ella Quintanilla Trevino, 87, a lifelong resident of Stockdale, passed away in San Antonio, Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born September 7, 1931, in Stockdale, to the late Fernando V. Quintanilla and Inez Rivas Quintanilla. Ella married Dan Trevino in Stockdale on November 1, 1948.

She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Fawn Mylenbusch; brothers, Daniel Quintanilla, Rene Quintanilla, Florentino Quintanilla, Fernando Quintanilla Jr, and Rudy Quintanilla; sister, Frances Guerra and husband Alfred Guerra; and son-in-law, Bobby Gaston.

Ella is survived by her husband, Dan Trevino; children, Gloria Bailey (Frank), Diane Garcia (Ray), Alice Gaston; grandchildren, Ruben Daniel Martinez (Jordana), Maxine Martinez, Ian Mylenbusch (Stephanie), Jonathan Garcia, and Laura Garcia; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Diego Martinez; brothers, Lorenzo Quintanilla (Dolores), Sam Quintanilla (Rosa), and Frank Quintanilla (Mary); sisters, Clara Rangel, Lucy Lerma (Jesse), Mary Ann Trevino, Sylvia Quintanilla (Rick), and Janie Villarreal (Rudy); numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00pm – 8:00pm, Monday, January 14, 2019, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel – Stockdale. Funeral Mass is at 10am, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville with Rev. Jorge Campos officiating. Interment will be at 2:30pm in Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian in San Antonio.
