Elena “Helen” Medina, of Nixon, Texas, entered eternal rest on February 28, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 64 years. She was born in Nixon on December 2, 1955, to Daniel G. and Manuela Garcia Medina. Helen is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Orlando Medina; her children: Orlando Medina Jr., Martin S. Medina (Veronica), Barbara Bruno (Zack); her grandchildren: Jenna, Joshua, Mercedes, Juliana, Ariana, Sebastian, Bella, and Violette; great-grandchildren: Iris and Damian; brothers: Daniel Medina Jr., Johnny Medina and Thomas Medina; her mother, Manuela Medina; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
