On Friday, January 15, 2021 Dorothy Jean Moore of Nixon, Texas passed away at home at the age of 84. Dorothy was born on May 13, 1936 in Nixon to Sam Moore, Sr. and Edna Mae (Grant) Moore whom have preceded her in death along with sisters, Ruby Moore, Evelyn Moore, Annie Ruth Brown and Eloise McKinney, and brother, Sam Moore, Jr. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Phillis Harrison and her husband Larry; grandchildren, Ashley Harrison Pena (Jacob), and Larry Lee Harrison II (Brenda); great-grandchildren, Kaden Harrison, Riyah Harrison, Braylee Harrison, and Makaya Pena; sister, La Verne Fatheree; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
