Obituary for Dorothy Flores (Richter)
Dorothy (Richter) Flores entered eternal rest on February 5, 2023, at the age of 87. She was born on January 26, 1936, in Stockdale, Texas to Alexander and Katherine (Skrobarczyk) Richter.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John Flores; her parents; siblings, Cecilia Gillig, Hedwig Winkler, Rudolph Richter, and Alex Richter, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Higinio Flores, Frank Flores, Sr., Magdaleno Flores and Trinidad Flores; sisters-in-law, Manuela Flores, and Mary Flores; nephews, Douglas Winkler, Roger Winkler, David Winkler, Frank Flores, Jr., Joseph Flores, John Paul Flores, and James Flores; niece, Maria Anita Flores.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Guadalupe Flores; nieces and nephews, Dennis Winkler (Linda), Erwin Winkler, Jr., Billy Winkler, Robert Winkler, Clarence Gillig (Debbie), Deborah Powell (Pete), Sandra Becka (Gary), Gene Flores (Phyllis), Rick Flores (Betty), Peter Flores (Janet), Jesse Flores (Chita), Josephine (Alvan), Andrew Flores (LeAnn), Jacob Flores, Mary Sepulveda (Michael), Patricia Vargas (Raul), Julian Flores (Maria), Nellie Schram (James), Guadalupe Stratman (Ronald), Anna Chapman, Juan Flores, Juanita Martinez (Jason), Michael Flores (Yolanda), Mary Ann Lozano (Gus), Barbara Flores, and numerous cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone at Prairie Meadow Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the years of care Dorothy received while in their care.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale, TX, and the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. that same morning at the church.
