Curtis Lee Tidd, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2023, at his home in La Vernia, Texas. He was born to Samuel Tidd and Mulveney Malatores Tidd in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1944.

Curtis was hardworking, opinionated, honest, compassionate, and a perfectionist with a unique sense of humor. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force for twelve years prior to settling with his family in La Vernia where he enjoyed updating his home and spending time with his family.

Curtis is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary Stewart Tidd; children, Curtis Samuel Luther Tidd (Joann Smithey), Lisa Gunn; grandchildren, Jonathon Curtis Tidd, Austin Samuel Tidd, Brandon Curtis Lee Tidd, Bradley Gunn (Kathleen), Victoria Rodriguez (Ruben), Valerie Kalka (Jay); great grandchildren, Jonathon Curtis Tidd, Jr., Mariana Rodriguez, Ruben James Rodriguez, Aiden Christian Rodriguez; brother, John Tidd of Pennsylvania; many other loving family and friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held to celebrate Curtis at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Friday, April 21, 2023, at 10:45 AM.
