Obituary for Cora Elnora "Nora" Kolodziejczyk (Kozelski)

Cora Elnora (Nora) Kolodziejczyk, 97 of Yorktown, entered her eternal home with her Lord Jesus, May 25, 2023. She was born August 28, 1925, in Karnes County to the late Robert P. and Victoria Henkes Kozelski.

Nora graduated from Kenedy High School in May 1943. After that she attended Bell Business School. She married the love of her life, Robert J. Kolodziejczyk, November 24, 1948. They had been married 48 years at the time of his passing in 1997. They were blessed with three children: Ann K. Hiller and husband Donald, James Kolodziejczyk, and Robert J. Kolodziejczyk Jr. and wife Sharon Craft Kolodziejczyk.

She was a Life Member of the Disabled American Legion Auxiliary, Life Member of the Panna Maria Historical Society. Nora was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 272 for over 20 years. A dedicated member of the Catholic Church, Alter Societies, and Catholic Daughters. She was a member and devoted many hours with local organizations like; Yorktown Friends of the Library, T.E.E.A. Club, and the Yorktown Senior Citizens.

Nora is survived by her daughter, Ann Hiller (Donald); son, Robert Kolodziejczyk Jr. (Sharon); grandchildren, Kasia Marie Kolodziejczyk Bloodworth (Colin), Robert J. Kolodziejczyk, III (Michelle Bingham Kolodziejczyk); step-grandchildren, Chris Andrews (Heather), and Diana Andrews Perry; step-great-grandchildren, Melanie and Lily Andrews, Trent, Dayna, and Trace Perry; special nieces, Joyce Schellpepper and Shirley Moczygemba; great-nieces and nephews.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Kolodziejczyk; step-grandson-in-law, Travis Perry; sister Bertha and husband A.J. Moczygemba; nephew, David Moczygemba.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 10:00-10:30am at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown. A rosary will be recited at 10:30am that same day at the Church. Funeral Mass will begin 11:00am also at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Francis Nguyen officiating. Interment following at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
