Obituary for Clarence Edward Mareth

Clarence Edward Mareth entered eternal rest on January 11, 2022, at the age of 85. He was born on March 24, 1936, in Yorktown, Texas to Frank Mareth and Annie (Baer) Mareth.

Clarence had his own business “Clarence’s Mobile Home Service” for 48 years. He was a hard worker and very skilled at remodeling homes. He loved spending time with his cows, as well as hunting, fishing, country and western music, and farming. He was also a volunteer fire fighter with the Lone Oak Fire Department and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgie Sliva, and Frances Priour; brother, Milton “Boy” Mareth.

Clarence is survived by his wife of more than 64 years, Marilyn (Keller) Mareth; son, Glynn Mareth (Brenda); grandchildren, Shauna Jenschke (Jeremy), Bobby Blankenship, Jr. (Jeannie), Suzanne Blankenship; great-grandchildren; Shylee Baertich, Shaye Tabor, Peyton Tabor; Charlee Jenschke, Cheyenne Blankenship, Bobby Blankenship, III, Allison Blankenship, Kaylor Ellis, Colton Ellis, Kayelynn Truesdell, Kelsey Truesdell, Brodie Vasbinder; great-great grandchildren, Dehlani Garza, Bobby Blankenship IV; numerous other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
