Charlie Coody, 75, of Nixon, Texas passed away on November 3, 2022. Charlie was born on August 9, 1947, in Dimmitt, Texas to Dessie Juanita (Brooks) Coody and Howard Coody. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Curtis Coody; brothers, Dwayne Coody, Earl Coody, and Johnny Coody.

Charlie is survived by his children, Sharlott Gordon (Nathan), and Susan Arnold (Chris Castro); grandchildren, Jeremy Gordon (Whitney), Hannah Gordon, Sean Arnold, Dominic Arnold, Chris Castro, and P.J. Castro; great-grandchildren, Gavin Garcia, Jase Gordon, and Emma Gordon; sisters, Donna McIntosh (Sonny), Mary Garrity, and Lillie Fern Gilland.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
