Obituary for Charles William "Chuck" Kesler
Charles W. Kesler, 77, of La Vernia, TX, passed away on February 21, 2023 at his home in the presence of his loving family. Mr. Kesler originally from Tennessee, was a retired Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 21 ½ years.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Kesler of La Vernia; parents, Glen& Mildred Swann of Tullahoma, TN; brothers, Jerry Kesler of Manchester, TN, and Glenndale Swann of Tullahoma, TN; great-granddaughters, Sadie and Ellianna Ibarra of La Vernia, TX. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Sandra and Javier Ibarra; grandchildren Maria Ibarra, Alejandro Ibarra and wife Kaylee, Esteban Ibarra; great-grandchildren, Luke and Noah Ibarra, all of La Vernia; sister, Karen Bailey; brother, John Swann of Tennessee.
He had many special friends from Baldy’s Diner in La Vernia and Sutherland Springs VP that the family would like to thank for their kindness and compassion over his years of friendship.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and a member of the Brahan Freemason Lodge in La Vernia.
There will be a graveside service held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:45 PM. There will be a short time of visitation with the family prior to the graveside from 2:15 PM – 2:45 PM.
