Obituary for Chad B. Fite

On August 3, 2021, Chad B. Fite, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Chad was born on December 19, 1963, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, to Edgar Foster and Elaine (Deavy) Fite. Chad married his sweetheart, Teresa White on August 17, 1985, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Chad served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, retiring in 2008. Chad served in the Gulf War, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom Campaigns. He continued to serve with the Air Force as a civilian for the last 13 years. Chad was also a member of the VFW and DAV.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Teresa Fite; children, James S. Fite and wife Margaret, Brian F. Fite and wife Marlene, and Michelle M. Fite; grandchildren, Corbin Fite, Thomas Fite, Colton Fite, and Anne Fite; mother, Elaine Fite; brothers, Chuck Johnston and wife Jill, Daniel Fite and wife Jenny, and Wayne Johnston and wife Jennifer; mother-in-law, Joan White; and brother-in-law, James White and wife Jennifer; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

Chad is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Foster Fite; maternal grandparents, Bernard, and Bernadette Deavy; and paternal grandparents, Edward, and Cora Mae Fite.
