Cecilia Bermea, age 86, of Nixon, entered eternal rest on January 8, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in the Schoolland Community in Gonzales County, Texas, on November 22, 1932, to Juan and Petra Ayala Dominguez. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Bermea; two brothers: Refugio Dominguez and Porfirio Dominguez; and two sisters: Fina Hernandez and Paz Soto. She is survived by her son, Steve Bermea (Minnie); her daughter, Diane Saldaña (Robert); grandchildren: Corey, Christopher, Victoria, Michael, and Jennifer (Joshua); great-grandchildren: Kayla (Pierce), Noel, Steven, and Nathan; great-great-grandchildren: Cailana, Camden and Conleigh, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family and many friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM.
