Carrol Sammons entered eternal rest on March 24, 2023, at the age of 90. He was born on December 13, 1932, in Floresville, TX to Chester and Johnnie (Cox) Sammons. Carrol is a 2-time Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee in the State of Texas. He was the founder and member of the Circle C Band. Music was his life and imprinted on a lot of people. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avanette Sammons; and his parents. Carrol is survived by his children, Pamela Lehr (Dennis), and Terry Sammons (Kelly); grandchildren, Lauren Wilson (Nathan) and Jole Fizer (Lawrence); and great-grandson, River Wilson. The family would like to offer their appreciation to JoDee Doyle and family for the loving care. They gave Carrol the best quality of life anyone could ask for many years. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Cowboy Church of La Vernia.
