Bonifacio H. “Boni” Velasquez, Jr., entered eternal rest in Seguin, Texas on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the age of 74. He was born June 16, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Bonifacio Zuniga Velasquez and Guadalupe Hernandez Velasquez.
Boni was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara R. Claire; father-in-law, Jesus Cardona; mother-in-law, Crestina Cardona; sister-in-law, Elena Cardona; brothers-in-law, Israel Reyes and Sabino Cardona; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Mollie Cardona Velasquez; son, Bonifacio C. Velasquez, III; daughter, Brickel Corina Velasquez; granddaughter, Brintleigh Elena Talamantez; brother-in-law, Jesse Cardona; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Ramos; his sisters: Maria Reyes, Diana Garcia, Nina Velasquez, Carmen Espinosa, Irene Guajardo; brother, Joe Guevara; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, from 4 PM-8 PM, with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM.
