Barbara Oldham Schmuck passed to her heavenly home on Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home in Adkins, Texas. She was born February 5, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to Alfred E. Oldham and Opal Rowe Oldham, who have preceded her in death.

Barbara is survived by and will be missed daily by her husband of 55 years, Jay Schmuck and their only daughter, Melissa Schmuck Miller and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Brent Schmuck (Lexi) and Michaela Miller; brother, Donald W. Oldham (Ruby); niece, Regina Oldham; nephew, Alexander Pytel; cousins, Ronald S. James (Hilda) and Elizabeth Colleen James.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Summit Hospice, Maria Martinez, Otilia Perez, Raul Lopez, Patrick Miller and Chaplain, Shayla Loker for the special care they gave to Barbara in her final days.
There will be a visitation Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
