Amelia Peña, 83 of Nixon, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 26, 2020. Amelia was born on July 4, 1937 in Shiner, Texas to Jesus Perez and Dolores (Gonzales) Perez who have preceded her in death along with husbands Santos C. Peña and Tomas Coloń. Also preceding her in death are her daughters, Dolores Gonzales Peña and Irene Perez Peña, her son, Santos Diaz Peña, and her brother, Marcelo Flores. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Peña Arce (Eliberto), Elvira Casas, Irma Romo, Lena Peña Trejo (Pablo), Santos Peña Martinez (Abel), and Marianna Peña (Melissa Stewart); sons, Santos Perez Peña, Ismael Peña, Manuel Peña (Alma), and Marco Coloń Peña; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Alex G. Perez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and many friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, 10:00am-11:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.
