Alvina (Aguirre) Garza, age 91, of LaVernia, Texas passed away on July 14, 2013. She was born on March 31, 1922 in Castroville, Texas to Jose Maria Aguirre and Carmen Garza . Alvina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alejandro Garza Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Garza Valerio and husband Robert; sons, Alejandro Garza Jr., Robert Garza, Johnny Garza; grandchildren, Lucille Hoffman, Amy Powell; great grandchild, Sterling Hoffman and many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 5pm-8pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm.
