Albert “Wayne” Johnson, better known and loved by all as “Wayne”, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Wayne was born August 31, 1943 to Albert Richard “Son” Johnson and Mittie Lee Nichols Johnson . Wayne will be remembered as a loving husband and father to those he leaves behind. While he could easily be noted as a “master of all trades”, he had an undeniable passion for the oilfield where he spent many years working as a sales consultant. Preceding him in death are his parents and endearing wife, Lola Faye Johnson. Wayne is survived by his children, Shelli Lynn Baker (Bob), Daryl Johnson (Debbie); grandchildren, Brandi Lynn Whitener (Cary), Charlee Jeanette Baker, Cooper Ray Johnson (Fiancée, Beth Stuart), Logan Wayne Baker, Caylynn Lagene Johnson; great grandchildren, Kaseton Wayne Whitener; sister, Mittie June Johnson Kluth (Jerry “Bubba”); niece, Beverly Hummel; nephews, Garrett Lane Kluth (Lara), Cameron Brent Kluth; great nephew, Twister Lane Kluth; great niece, Emery Lynn Kluth. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale, TX.
