Agnes Thomas passed to her heavenly home May 26, 2023, at her home in Adkins, Texas. She was born April 16, 1925, in Martinez, Texas.
Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Thomas Sr.; son, Harold Thomas, Jr.; parents, Benjamin Sodrock and Petronell (Dylla) Sodrock; siblings, Harri Shodrok, Ben Sodrok, Edward Sodrok, Dorothy Smith, Martha Day.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Catherine Thomas (Wesley Post) and Caroline Hesseltine (Herbert C. Jr.); grandchildren, Herbert C. Hesseltine, III, Gary J. Hesseltine, Kristine Fierros (Adolph), great grandchildren, Kaitlyn M. Hesseltine, Kourtny J. Hesseltine (Peter Weldon); Harold R. Thomas, III (Ruth), Aaron Thomas (Brandy), great grandchildren, Electra, Stonefox & Kimberly, Paul Thomas (Julie); great-grandchildren, Elena, Vincent & Madeline, brother, Albert Sodrok (Becky); sisters, Lucille Kneupper, Joyce Hartmann (Charlie), Betty Shaw; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM with Rosary following at 10:30 am.
Graveside and interment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at 1:30 PM that same afternoon.
