Daniel M. Holland, age 88, of Union Valley, passed away October 29, 2018 in Seguin. He was born in Coldwater, Kansas on August 30, 1930, to Aubrey Chester and Elizabeth (Bartlett) Holland. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma (Dosher) Holland; and a daughter, Christine “Chris” Oakley. He is survived by his son, Aubrey “Butch” Holland and wife Cynthia; his daughter, Cindy Bean and husband Doug; his son-in-law, Dan Oakley; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as other loving family and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with Visitation held one hour before the service. The Rev. Michael Cowey will officiate with burial following in the Union Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
