Norman G. “Buddy” Hormuth, age 90, of La Vernia, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 in Selma. Buddy was born December 28, 1926 in La Vernia to Edward Theodore and Adela (Mueller) Hormuth. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Milton Hormuth and his wife Alwine and Marvin Hormuth and his wife Billye; 2 infant sisters and a nephew, Keith Edward Hormuth. Buddy is survived by his wife, Erna Lee Hormuth; nephews, Barry Lynn Hormuth, Donald Ray Hormuth, Judd Barthold and Willie Barthold; nieces, Margie Cook and her husband Olin, Beverly Ann Haddock and her husband Dr. Neil Haddock, Dorris McCoy and her husband Fred and Debbie Mann; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will take place from 10:00am to 12 noon Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, La Vernia.

The Reverend Dr. Robert Palan will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
