Obituary for Bennie Roy Cotter
Bennie Cotter, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2017, in Cedar Creek, Texas. He was born on February 15, 1938, in Stockdale, Texas to Everett Hays and Myrtie (Luker) Cotter.
Bennie is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn (Ritchie) Cotter; his parents; his sister, Gussie Franklin Gann; brothers, Everett “Sonny” Luker Cotter and Charles Earl Cotter.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Harold Cotter; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and other loving family and friends.
A memorial graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017, 10:00am, at the Stockdale Cemetery, Stockdale, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions in Bennie’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
