Jose Arnulfo Marquez, 68, of Stockdale, passed away May 31, 2017. He was born May 12, 1949, in Esmeralda, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Miguel Marquez and Maria Villegas Marquez. Jose was a machine operator for Tyson Foods Company for 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ernesto Marquez.

Jose is survived by his siblings, Benigno Marquez and wife Angelica of Stockdale, Juan Marquez of Guadalajara Mexico, Celia Martinez and husband Ignacio of Stockdale, Pascual Marquez of Nuevo Laredo Mexico, Angilberto Marquez and wife Felicitas of Stockdale, Dumience Marquez and wife Patsy of Stockdale, Eva Torres and husband Alberto of Stockdale and Hirineo Marquez and wife Yolanda of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, 5:00-8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel – Stockdale. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30am on Friday, June 2, 2017, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale with Father Dennis Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Benigno Marquez, Juan Marquez, Angilberto Marquez, Dumience Marquez, Hirineo Marquez and Victor Marquez.
