Obituary for Janet K. Williams (Owsley)
Janet Kay Williams, 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born November 2, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas and was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School class of 1965. Janet will be remembered for her outgoing, theatrical and witty personality and her loving devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her father James Arnold Owsley and mother Mary Emma Owsley of Corpus Christi, Texas and husband Carl Russell Williams, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas.
She is survived by her three daughters: Wendy Williams Brewer of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rachelle Williams Swaminathan of Houston, Texas, Spring Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas, her grandchildren Claira Anne Williams and Cameron James Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas, three siblings, Paula Jean Bach of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mary Darlene Coulson of College Station, Texas and James Arnold Owsley, Jr. of San Diego, California and nieces Heather Nicole Bach of Corpus Christi, Texas and Chelsea Lauren Coulson of College Station, Texas.
A private service will be held in Dewville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements entrusted to Finch Funeral Chapel, LLC, of Nixon (830) 582-1521.
