Obituary for Marilyn Jane Stuart (Sembera)

Marilyn Jane Stuart (Sembera)
Marilyn Jane Sembera Stuart, born August 13, 1945, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

She was the wife of George Benard Stuart and together they set the bar for what 54 years of love looks and feels like. Together they raised 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who all knew what being loved unconditionally really felt like.

Loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, Marilyn had a huge heart and would do the world for anyone who asked. Marilyn thoroughly enjoyed many aspects of her life especially being a grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Words straight out of her mouth would be that she "lived for you kids". Marilyn had many talents and some of those things would include sewing and cooking/baking. Upon entering Marilyn's home you were always greeted with a smile and a hello immediately following would be, "Are you hungry? There's food on the stove or we can make something to eat". The legacy of her cinnamon rolls, homemade kolaches, hot sauce, and pistachio pudding will be tirelessly duplicated until someone gets it close enough. If you left Marilyn and George's house hungry it was definitely your own fault.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Adolph Sembera, Jr., John Sembera, Edward Sembera, Dorothy Kalka, and Benjamin Sembera; granddaughter, Megan Mendoza; and grandsons, Sawyer and Chase Stuart.

She is survived by her husband, George Stuart; children, Jacqueline Stuart, Michelle Saenz (Ramiro), George Stuart, Jr. (Kim), Kimberly Mendoza, Andrew Stuart (Audra), and Kevin Stuart (Michele); 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

There are no words to accurately describe the woman Marilyn was but if you were lucky enough to know her, you already know exactly what she was. We will hold on to our sweet memories and continue to celebrate her life. We are so grateful for the 70 years of life she was given to spend with us here on Earth and were were thankful to be loved by her.

There was a memorial service held at 3:00pm on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the family residence.
